The main Objective of Library Committee is

· To decide and adopt policies to govern the management and programme of the library.

· To prepare the annual budget.

· To prepare rules and regulations of the library.

· The committee also looks into student’s grievance, if any.

Role of The Library Committee

The Library Committee is responsible for planning for the upkeep and future development of the College Library and the purchase of books for the Library. From time to time it reviews the regulations governing the use of the Library and other matters concerning the Library such as the borrowing of books and disciplinary matters.

Two meetings of Library Committees are organized in an academic year, i.e. one in first term and another second term. We also held frequent dialogues among committee members to have discussion on various Library related issues whenever feel so.
